We recently had another family art night, this time we made fruit faces!  After looking at several examples of art from Giuseppe Arcimboldo, we set out to make our own silly versions. 
This also happens to be one of my favorite lessons to teach to my art classes, all the children really have fun making different styles of fruit faces.
I think this would be fun to do as a family on Thanksgiving.

I love how he added fish ears!  His head is a pineapple that has been cut in half, with the leaves for the hair.

I thought Madeline’s face turned out really good for an almost 3 year old.

I could not get a good picture of this, but you get the idea of the guy I made.
