I was able to run/walk a 5k today, yes!  I usually just go as far as 2.5 miles.  I felt great and afterwards my body felt so good and refreshed, until…  We went out to eat for grilled cheese sandwiches, fries and gasp, ice cream with caramel and hot fudge.  How sad, all my hard work wasted by junk food!  Oh well, I have been eating super good lately.  Plus I figured that only the ice cream really counted since I had burned enough calories to cancel out the other food!  It is my hope that I will be able to enter an actual 5k race in March.  I know I can do it, I just get silly mental images of me taking a super long time to finish a simple race!!
