I am absolutely in love with these salt dough ornaments that the kids and I made as part of an advent activity.  The kids had a blast rolling the dough.  I think they turned out just perfect.  We sent one of the stars to a grandparent as a hanging ornament for a window.  For this we added long bendable wire and beads.  On the back we wrote: Wish on a star!  I really like the way this  turned out and I can not wait for the kids to make more.
To make these we mixed two cups of flour, one cup salt and one cup water.  Then we rolled them out, cut with a cookie cutter, and baked for 2 1/2 hours at 275 degrees.  After they dried the kids painted them.  I love Madeline’s gingerbread man!
